For roller blinds, you only need to measure the width at the top of the recess only. This is due to the fabric being less wide than the overall width of the blind, which incorporates the controls and brackets.

Fixing & Controls
Supplied with ceiling fixings as standard, can be window fixed option in product selection window recess. Screws and wall plugs are not supplied as we don’t know what surface you are installing onto.
Fabric Tolerance & Weight
Blinds are made within a 5mm manufacturer tolerance on the width and drop. The width measurement provided allows for the bracket and operating mechanism to fit neatly. The roller fabric will be approximately 35mm less than the overall blind width. Blinds over 275cm wide will be heavy due to the material, we recommend splitting them into two blinds. Larger blinds over 200cm wide and 200cm drop will require a join in the fabric
